👉How long does a 2lb meatloaf take at 350 degrees?
⭐️A 2 lb meatloaf typically takes 1hour–1hour 20 minutes to cook at 350°F with an internal temperature of 160°F
⭐️It's a great idea to have a thermometer for cooking!
⭐️The size of your meatloaf and the tempurature you cook it on will determine the time it takes to cook.
⭐️The internal temperature for fully cooked meatloaf is 160°F (70°C).
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
●Beef
I recommend using 80/20 ground beef for the best flavor and juiciness.
●Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs help the meatloaf stick together and give it a nice texture. Italian seasoned breadcrumbs add a great flavor to meatloaf.
●Eggs:
Eggs help hold the meatloaf together.
●Onions:
Onions add great flavor to the meatloaf. I like to partially pre-cook them.
●Seasonings
You can add your favorite seasonings. Like parsley, savory Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic or garlic powder...etc
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• DO NOT OVERMIX Overworking the meat mixture can result in a tough and dense meatloaf.

👉If you want to make a sauce topping below is a recipe
Meatloaf Special Sauce Recipe

• 2 ½ to 3 Tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ¼ tsp ground black pepper
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp wostershire sauce
Mix together and set aside
🔥Tip: you can increase or decrease sauce ingredients to suit your taste buds.
👉Mix it all together and shape loaf and place in baking dish.
👉Cover with foil
👉Bake for about 45 minutes then put your ketchup or special Sauce on the top of meatloaf.
👉Bake for about an hour to an hour and a half or until internal temperature reaches 160°
Remove from oven and let it rest 10 to 15 minutes
👉 TIPS:
• Gently press the meat into the pan, just so it holds its shape but do NOT pack it in tightly.
• Test for Doneness with a meat thermometer (it should reach an internal temperature of 160˚F).
• Rest meatloaf for 10-15 minutes before slicing for the juices to redistribute and for easier slicing.

🔥To Cover Or Not To Cover
It really depends on your own personal preferences!
I say & so do others 👉cover it with foil if you want a tender & moist meatloaf.
You can leave it uncovered if you prefer a crispy brown crust on top. I cover it for the majority of cooking time and then uncover it towards the end when I put my ketchup on top.
👉Covering your meatloaf helps ensure the meatloaf cooks evenly throughout.
❤️I cover my meatloaf because it helps with moisture retention. I DONT like a dried out meatloaf. So if you are using a leaner ground meat/beef it's really a good idea to cover your meatloaf.
👉 So this is what I & many others do.
I cover my meatloaf with foil for the majority of cooking to retain the moisture.
👉And cover the top in a THICK layer of ketchup! (Got to have A LOT, A LOT of ketchup for my meatloaf lol. And return to bake until done.
But if you prefer a crispy crust on your meatloaf then you will uncover it for the last 15-20 minutes to brown the top.
🔥How do you know if meatloaf is fully cooked?
Take the guesswork out of knowing when the meatloaf is cooked by testing it with a meat thermometer and cooking it until it has an internal temperature of 160°.
